Pylon blast in Nasirabad cuts power to parts of Sindh and Punjab

Power supply to many areas of Sindh and Punjab was disrupted after an explosive device went off under a transmission pylon in Balochistan's Nasirabad district.

Officials said the improvised explosive device was planted under the tower, damaging the line that carries electricity to the national grid.

Attacks on transmission infrastructure in Balochistan have repeatedly disrupted electricity supply to other provinces.
