National Beach Volleyball Championship gets under way at Manora

The National Beach Volleyball Championship begins at Karachi's Manora Beach on Wednesday and runs until October 30.

The Pakistan Volleyball Federation held a referees' clinic, a technical meeting and the draws in Karachi ahead of the event, dividing the teams into four groups.

Manora's open sands make it one of the few venues in the country suited to the beach version of the game.
