Education Sindh halts classes in unsafe school buildings with immediate effect

The Sindh government has announced a zero-tolerance policy against private schools operating in dangerous or dilapidated buildings, halting all teaching activity in such premises with immediate effect.
Inspectors will survey private school buildings within 15 days, and schools in hazardous structures must move their students to safer places. Registrations of schools in dilapidated buildings are under review, and those that stay put could be closed.
Officials have also been told to identify unregistered institutions and to report the number of affected students and the condition of each building within 15 days.
