Peshawar High Court grants bail to PTI activists held under MPO

The Peshawar High Court has granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf activists detained under the Maintenance of Public Order ordinance.

The court asked the activists to give a written pledge that they would avoid "anti-state" activities.

The detentions came amid emergency rule imposed earlier this month in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province governed by Imran Khan's party.
